Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council Biennial Members Exhibition

I was recently invited by the Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council to be the Awards Judge for their Biennial Members Exhibition.

The juried show held at the Plymouth Arts Center highlights the fine crafts of more than 30 artists.

The Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council, founded in 1916, is dedicated to fostering excellence in Fine Crafts and the support of the Artists who create it. Through shows, exhibitions, workshops and on-line, WDCC works to elevate standards and increase public awareness of design and craftsmanship.

WDCC encourages individual expression, vitality and aesthetic growth opportunities for fellowship, acquisition of skills, and competitive exhibitions. Every two years, the WDCC organizes a juried exhibition of the best examples of Fine Craft created by the members and presented in partnership with a regional university or Arts Center. For more information about the WDCC, visit their website: www.wdcc.org

I congratulated the fine craft artists on their exciting exhibition. It was very difficult to select the award winners because so many pieces were beautiful and well crafted.
